10th anniversary of Law 11/2014, a pioneering law in Europe that will update
The passat 2 d'octubre is complien deu anys of the Law against LGBTI-phobia, Law 11/2014, to guarantee the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersexual people and to eradicate homophobia, biphobia and transphobia. A law promoted by LGBTIQ+ entities that will achieve the political consensus necessary to approve and become a pioneer in Europe. After a decade it was revised and updated.
Law 11/2014 is intended to guarantee equality and respect for all people, regardless of sexual orientation, identity or gender expression, and had as its main objectives legal protection, education in diversity, the prevention of school assets and the eradication of LGBTI-phobia in all areas of public and private life.
Among the various works, the creation of the first SAI LGBTI European Network that's going to be the rebre silver award from the European Commission in the category of promotion of LGBTI inclusion and diversity, the issuance of health objectives in the name sentit, the care and support of LGBTI people, the training plans, the support of LGBTI policies, the local LGBTI plans , among many other actions that will turn it into a legal text of global reference.
